TURMERIC: A Super Supplement
TURMERIC, is a super supplement, an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Curcumin is the active compound in turmeric which gives it these healing properties.
*Turmeric has been found in studies to prevent and alleviate Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis and cancer.
*It’s antibacterial properties help to treat skin irritations/ailments and prevent the spread of infection.
*Turmeric is essential for brain health; it promotes cognitive function, removes toxins and reduces inflammation in the brain (which we can’t really feel or see).

How to take turmeric:
• As a supplement (try to get one that contains black pepper. This helps with absorption).
• Turmeric tea
• Add the spice to your recipe.
• Consume the rhizome as is! I peel the skin and finely chop turmeric and toss it in my salads every night!!!
